The Barry Young Medal of Excellence is donated and awarded by North Shore Masters to the swimmer who breaks the oldest record during the year.
It is a huge honour to receive this medal as only 11 will ever be awarded.
Mary Ann Turbitt of Waitakere City Masters became the 6th recipient for breaking the Womens’ 400m Short Course Freestyle record in the 75-79 age group. This was set by Olga Johnson back in 1998 in time of 7:57:17. Mary Ann’s time was an amazing 6:59:16.
The Waitakere club presented the medal at a surprise dinner organised to celebrate her achievement.
Congratulations to Mary Ann and many thanks to North Shore Masters for donating this award in memory of our friend Barry Young.
Diapers are not only mean for kids. They are widely used by adults too. There are many cases in which the patients in homes lose control and leak where they are. To prevent this, what are the best overnight diapers for adults babies are available in markets to prevent leakage and other problems for adults.
