- If you've had a hard summer season, give yourself a few weeks break. Your mind and body will love you, but don't get too comfortable

- Swim with a friend

- Swim in the day if you can, don't leave it until the evening
- Treat yourself to something new such as a new swimming toy or suit
- Try new things and switch it up.
- Reward yourself after each swim with something yummy like a hot chocolate
- Join a swimming group
- Choose a bad habit to destroy this winter
- Stay connected to the swimming world via facebook and blogs
- Look after your health and remember to wrap up warm
- Most importantly remember to have fun
